A shocking performance against Napoli in the UFEA Champions League and a bad start to the Premier League has led people to question Jugaren Klopp, but so far there is no panic at Liverpool, and everyone remains calm about the situation and feel confident that Klopp will get the team firing on all cylinders.
Since the start of the season, there have been many issues for Klopp to deal with, he has many players out with injury, the midfield isn’t working, the front three do not seem to be working well and some aging players having to play more games then they hoped for already, it all seems to be pilling the pressure on to Klopp.
But everyone at the club seems to be keeping calm and there is no rumbling of the Liverpool owners looking to change things and the players seem to be happy working under Klopp. The owners and Klopp have a good working relationship and he has worked wonderings at the club since being there BUT this season there are questions starting to be asked about players, and style of play, and have things just started to become a little stale at the club.
Liverpool plays one way and one way only and that is hard and fast, play with a high line, down the wings and cut inside. They rely on speed and being able to play for the full 90 minutes but with that being said, Liverpool has always relied on the same players season after season and one of two of them have an off game, get injured, then it affects the whole team, this is more evident this season.
For a top team, Liverpool has a poor midfield, and the two wingbacks, Robertson & Alexander-Arnold, especially Alexander-Arnold are being exposed in every game around the ability to defend, the star player Salah has been a shadow of his form self, in all games this season he has been none existent! Darwin Núñez is finding it tough and has already been sent off this season and served a three-match ban, which hasn’t helped him to settle in at all.
But with the many problems at Liverpool right now, the calm heads at the club could be the best thing for the club, Klopp will know how to turn things around and get his squad going again, he just needs the time to do it and for the calm heads to remain calm.
